Scripture Reading: Galatians 6:1-10
You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat others around them. In this week's reading, we are urged to deal gently with others, especially those who are fellow Christians. We don't have to look too far to see examples of people treating other people badly. There seems to be no shortage of those who are angry at other people, sometimes over trivial things. If you call yourself a Christian, then you have been called to a better way of living. Being quick-tempered and treating others poorly is not acceptable. You will make a significant impact in people's lives simply by dealing gently with them and having patience when others become upset. As the Bible says, we will reap what we sow, and if we deal in anger with people, we should expect angry dealings in return. May others see God's love in you as you deal with them!
